Meshes Of The Afternoon is the name of an experimental black & white film by Maya Deren. Deren was inspired by the surrealist avant-garde and the romantic American literature. Iris Alba is Paris based photographer who’s photographic series is an ode to randomness and beauty. “The film was reloaded twice and it produced these double-exposures, with the faces of several models, Jade, Jessica, Esther, Josephine and Paulina…”, explains Iris his process. “What’s beautiful in photography, such as in life, are the failures, the mistakes…I never know what I do, I never know what I say.
