WOMEN: New Portraits is the title of the new exhibition of celebrated American photographer Annie Leibovitz that is launching in London. In fact, Annie started the project already in 1999 with the push of her then partner Susan Sontag. When we have found out about Annie’s exhibition coming to London we could not have missed the press conference where Annie walked us through her photographic portraits of some greatest women she met throughout her life journey. The series contain some mind-blowing collection of images portraying “woman of outstanding achievement”. Sheryl Sandberg, Wendi Deng, Lena Dunham, Aung San Suu Kyi, Jane Goodall and Caitlyn Jenner are some of the sitters for Annie’s project. “It’s a work in progress”, as Annie explains.
